Spider-man

I was just thinking , what if Sony had the rights to the punisher and he was Featured in a Spider-man film? How do you think Raimi would have handled the character? How do you think they would have worked him into the story?

If it was up to me he would have had a cameo in Spider-man, and would have had a part in Spider-man 2, Hired by Harry to kill Spider-man, as he's under the belief that spidey's a bad guy. Later in the film, he would realize that Spidey's a good guy, and probably would have made an attempt to kill ock.

it would have been nice to see the Punisher debut in Spider-Man with a slow build up through out until he's unleashed in the 3rd. It would have been a nice arc to have him be mentioned a few times in the first one. The second one Harry convinces him that Spider-Man is a villain and has killed his father. The Punisher hunts him down all the while Harry has Dock Ock doing his thing too. But it would still have been a PG-13 movie, so Frank couldn't be his usual MAX incarnate self.

I still think a Punisher movie could be done in a PG-13 way. I look at movies like Taken, Bourne series and Casino Royale and I think the envelope can be pushed.

Also Die Hard 4. Although a bit over the top I was pleased with how intense it was for only PG13.

Has anyone read this yet? I just found out about it after seeing an ad on yahoo for it last night.

I think I saw an ad for that somewhere. I don't want to start a debate... but I feel like it's appropriate. I don't really care much for Obama, and I don't care for Amazing Spider-Man, after Brand New Day... So it's kind of appropriate that they'd be together.
